Number of replies per page
Hi Webby, is there any chance you could limit the amout of replies per thread per page say 15, and then a new page starts, as there is 1 long thread in marines at the moment and you have to scroll down. 15/20 replies per page would be good.
Cheers Richard

could do, but i thought users would prefer a larger page, to save flicking through every page to find something.
any one else with a preference here?

Seperate pages work much better, its a pain having to scroll down on long threads. Especially if there loads of photos above that need to load, because the screen 'jumps' once each photo has loaded.

Still leaves the problem from photos loading, plus it'd look tidier with pages - much more organised.

rob, i have no probs with pics loading when i hit the latest post icon! it just takes me to the end of forum,5secs max..i found it a hassle on the old forum with umpteen seperate pages to scroll through, also takes longer to load as the system has to download all the seperate pages instead of just 1

Surely it takes longer to load one long page rather just one short page, because there'll be much less to load? Maybe Webby will know.
