For the past week i have been getting readings of approx 0.25mg/l nitrite in my tap-water and i am not happy
I am aware the legal limit is 0.50, but i never even get a reading on my tapwater normally, and i test once a month just out of curiosity. Always an undetectale level.
Going my Thames Water report for my area, in 2007 the average reading of nitrite in the tap-water was 0.027 (from 36 samples) and the max was 0.2
Another argument for getting some kind of water-purification device?
I might read up a bit more on these HMA filters, i dont think they involve quite the same level of p*ssing about as RO do they? I mean having to put loads of stuff back in the water like minerals etc?
