2 questions please if thats ok
I am 12 and went on my own to get a fish i wanted a bristlenose for my dads birthday i had checked with mum to make sure it was an ok fish to get for their tank and she said yes but the lady in the shop wouldnt let me buy one she said it was against the law... is it really against the law or was she just being mean? or maybe she was just being careful incase i wasnt really buying it for dad or if i didnt know what i was doing.
number 2 question how is the best way to get good pictures of fish because when i try the flash makes the tank look really bright or the fish all swim away or there are strange marks on the glass maybe it needs a clean lol or something else isnt right i want to take pictures of the fish but it goes wrong.
thank you for helping me i hope its ok to keep asking questions

I'm not sure if it's 14 or 16 without an adult, she was following the law though, not just being mean.
As for photos, I'm no expert as my limited fish photos show. But clean glass is key, having the room darker than the tank and having the camera pointed slightly downrather than up towards the light works for me. Try not to chase the fish with the camera and instead point your camera at an area in the tank and wait for the fish to swim into it, this will help cut down blur.
