tank looks ok, im not normally a fan of the ruins/decor to be honest but they look ok, as slash has said you do realise that all the fish you have get very big?+ chocolate cichlids can be very aggressive, i had a 12" male that ripped everything else to pieces inc his missus

i knew they got pretty big but didnt know the chocolate cichlids could be very aggresive i was advised they could be with there own but should be ok with other stuff like angels & the clown loaches, the bigger 1 of the two does seem to chase the other 1 all over the tank somtimes then it changes colours like its stressed or maybe camo colours im not sure lol might just have to look in to the 6ft tank sooner than i thought for chocolate cichlids alone thank's so much for your feedback it all helps me

Hmmmm, think you've been stitched up a bit. Pretty much all cichlids are aggressive, some more so then other. They aren't so bad when they are smaller but when they get better and want to breed......bad news for your other fish.
Its not so bad for you though as you have very little in your tank and they shouldn't bother the Clowns or Plec but they can potentially be nasty.

hmmm thats all my faith gone from that shop now & i thought they was pretty good like i say they told me they could be nippy with each other but not with other fish i will keep an eye on them to see how they go on but i am thinking of getting another tank & if im gonna split the chocolate cichlids up from the other fish before any problem's start would it be worth while thinking about breeding them as the tank will be holding chocolate cichlids only any advice on this would be great as i have never done anything like this before but just thought if im gonna go to all the effert of buying & setting another tank up just for that kind of fish would it not be worth while maybe buying a couple more of them & putting 4 or 6 of those in 1 tank & breeding them that way im doing somthing i enjoy looking after the fish & making somthing to cover my expenses

With younger cichlids if you have a group of 6 or something, you will find that probably 2 will pair up and will bully the rest. I have 4 Cuban cichlids and they were fine together then 2 paired up and beat the hell outta the other ones. Now they are in a tank with an Oscar and 2 Jack Dempseys and keeps them pinned in the corner attacking them as they want to breed. So I am going to have to get rid of the Oscar, Jacks and other Cuban otherwise they will kill them and they will have to be kept on their own.
You will probably find this happens with your Chocs eventually. I would see what your two turn out like first.

No problem
Although they are small, I may be wrong but the one in the first picture looks like a female.
