It seems you like hybrids rather a lot
Just imagine.... the fish's organs will be all mixed up and look at its body it looks like a crude operation!:
I know people are going to come down on me like a tonne of bricks but I am afraid to say in my eyes I can not call you a true hobbiest especially when you are breeding hybrids.
""Is no one on this forum bothered about the natural beauty of fish???
Its a shame if you promote this side of fishkeeping!

George, good on you for being honest. Now my two pence worth..
You hardly ever come on this forum yet when you do you leave negative comments every time. Never seen you contribute anything of interest, no pic's no information on your setups. I'm all for people expressing their opinions, but at least come on regularly to let the person answer back
Parrot fish looking horrible is your opinion. This is not a fact, lot's of people like these fish.
"I am afraid to say in my eyes I can not call you a true hobbiest especially when you are breeding hybrids"
- Who the hell are you to say who is and who isn't a true hobbiest? I'd love to compare water parameters of your tanks against Alex's.
You have a valid point about the anatomical deformities and of course you have the right to like or dislike any species for whatever reason you choose. But you need to remember, what people keep is down to their own choice.
Hybridizing occurs in the wild and has for many many years. When the hybrid is good, the strain/species lives on as it's strong and has all the attributes required to survive.
If it's a bad hybrid, of course natural selection will occur. The weak die and the strong survive.
Please next time you comment, try to make your point without making a personal attack on someone you don't know. It's not needed or appropriate.
