I tried plants with my Malawis and they trashed them, made a right mess.

he is pretty amazing ,have not seen him for 3 days, he has not eaten any thing I have put in the tank for seven weeks , thought he has got to be dead now ? sifted all the sand in the front of he tank wasnt there took just about all of the live rock out and there he was happy as a sand boy looking at me as I removed the remaining bit , so I put it all back leaving a gap so that I could keep an eye on him ,and once I had finished he came to the front of the tank and buried himself again , I am not going to do that again unless I have to so in the future I am going to do more tests and if they start to rise ,then I will look for him again.
