Aww thank you!

£35 isnt at all bad for 50 cherry shrimpsicles is it!! Although I can't see me needing 50... I only wanna do a planted 2fter for them. I have no idea what the filteration issues would be on shrimps, I can't imagine they produce much waste??

Edited to say, I would want quite a few though if they were the only animals in the tank, so they were on show quite often. How many adults would you keep in a nice planted 2footer? Any idea how they do with your common liverbearers, mollies, guppies swords and platys?
Thankies x

Well jess.

Filter only needs to be simple sponge airline jobbie. nothing that would suck them up and spit tem out. have no idea on how many you would need because they breed quite easy im led to believe.

i hear they are sensative to some water declorinators so would need to do a little research on that. if serious about them join us at Rare aquatics .the website with shop based in crew.

I have mine with our small fancy goldfish 2" bristlenoses and some other japonica shrimps. external filter 36x15x12 tank however it has masses of java moss!

shrimps are £2.25 in our local aquatic shop!

my japonica shrimp eating papaya! photo.excuse the algie on glass.

Aww how cute. Thanks for the info rob, I'll keep you updated. I wouldnt mind a few guppies, cardinals and shrimps in a 2fter in my room. Although the goldfish are still waiting to go in the pond in spring/summer so may end up doing something a lil bigger whats papaya? i thought it was egyptian paper or something

p.s does the man who has all the cherry shrimpsicles have a website??
