Default CO2 injection rate

I have a 55 gallon tank and i set up a diy co2 injection i put the mixture together last night with 2 cups of sugar 1/2 teaspoon dry active yeast and a pinch of baking soda, i did this is two 2-liter bottles. I put this together at about 8 oclock last night and i woke up and it was already giving me 2 bubbles per in less than a second in my bubble counter. is this two much for my 55 gallon tank? I am also using a CO2 diffuser if that is of any help. Thanks Guys
