Thanks Alan, unfortunately i got impatient, as us girls do, lol

i bought a pro2 2028 this afternoon, wow the spray bar is so powerful!

i have floating plants in there which i'm quite fond of but i think they will have to go, the current is blowing the roots off them, loose ones that is....

Thanks for all your input everyone, i think this will do teh trick, i'll keep you posted

knowing Eheim as i do Von and the 2028 it's very unlikely you will regret it, chances are this filter will still be going strong in 10 years time!

I hope mine are!

With regards to your cloudy water, bit of a long shot, but sometimes it's very related to the types of food you use.

I chucked out all the ebay food, now they get hikari pellets and bloodworm and stuff, unless its the fruit and stuff i give the frt

Ok, update, i'm impressed, water is clearer and there doesn't seems to be much poo about which is strange, anyway, glad i got it.
