Default Fake Plants

Hey people,

I'm a big fan of real plants and would always go down that route when it's possible.

But... For a tank where all the fish in it are aggressive and enjoy ripping plants to shreds... I'm needing to setup a tank with fake plants.

Has anyone got any ideas on a good place to get good FAKE plants from? Not LFS, cos they cost a bomb! And the ones I've seen around online have been a bit small looking.

I was thinking about the fake plants people have on display in their homes etc. But I'm worried about the possible leaching?

Anyone got any input, please give me some ideas.

Cheers

Pete

Peter,

i use to be total O-Natural,then got total covering with black-beard algie Due to keeping Discus I changed to Plastic (for easy cleaning).

I have a Masive Bamboo from Pets city ,the ones ment for Reptiles.
My others are from Wilkinsons £1.65 each got small medium and large and makes quite a good look.

I now whip them out from time to time into a bucket of diluted bleach, rinse, let dry and then replace.
