They clearly don't understand how it works then, do they really think every time you flush the toilet the tank empties? Imagine the fish, you'd have to restock every time you flushed.

It might be tacky but in away it could be quite nice, depending on how its done. Plus its another place to keep fish, but its technically not a fish tank. So there's a loop hole meaning you can get more fish without any complaints.

I think they are a great novelty, it would certainly make you laugh if you walked into someones bathroom and didnt expect it to be there.

PFK are taking things too seriously

Cant see them being a major seller though, due to the work of re-fitting a toilet cistern and possibly re-doing the bathroom to match LOL

old box TV's, washing machines and water drinking towers have all been converted into fish tanks.

What about the goldfish shower curtain from Tesco direct?

Was it a Ford Ka filled with kol?
IIRC someone has converted one of the red telephone boxes into an aquarium.

It must depend on which company makes them, this one (http://youtube.com/watch?v=R6SjcwBMdrI&feature=related) doesn't drain the tank.

They are quite a seller in America and there is the odd company that imports them as far as retro fitting these it would be quite easy it takes about half an hour to change a cistern at least thats how quickly I can do it. A plumber should be able to do it much quicker than me.

The finish is white and clear acrylic so it would fit in with 90% of bathrooms but if you are unlucky enough to have an avocado suite then perhaps it wouldn't fit in.
