In my eheim2213 i use Ehfi Fix and it works a treat,so easy to wash out !

On my large eheim eco i use Oase garden pond sponges with a coarse pre-filter sponge in the tank over the outlet ! the oase sponges come in sheets In 2 or 3 different textures(coarse medium and fine) this can be cut to fit any size filter.
my aim in doing this is to keep all bio-media free of crud/mulm !

I currently use Ehfimech in all my canisters along with Ehfisubstrat, but have been hearing good things about EhfiFix and am seriously considering changing over to it.

I use EhfiMech on all my externals , but after reading up on EhfiFix as with others I'm certainly considering changing over.
