Would love to see this pump 7000 litres an hour to a 5metre head though.

For fish houses the sequence has to be the way forward

Ah so just running air lines directly into the huey hung sponge filters will be enough aeration/filtration yeah?

I've been looking but can;t find the snapper aquatics 7000 litre pump. Can only see smaller ones with very few air outlets...

Can you let me know where I should be looking mate?

Cheers

ok grandad i'm thinking of ordering two of the 960 LITRE 8 outlet jobbys from tinah, have asked her for a quote.

That should more then take care of the small breeding tanks (they'll be 12) at 18"x12"x12". That'll still leave me with 4 spare outlets if other small tanks are added at any point.

So I'll just rig those air lines up and throw a huey hung sponge filter at the end of each and that'll be good to go yeah?

Cos obviously with this set up, they'll be air coming in but no filtration happening... So what's the idea, when the waste goes to the bottom of the tank, I'll just sypthon/vacuum that up during water changes? All the tanks will be lightly stocked so waste levels will be minimal..

I know i'm probably asking questions that are common knowledge to you more experienced guys. But I've only ever dealt with regular filters so wanna make sure I'm clear about everything before I crack on with setting this all up.
