Sorry i think i may have confused some people, i have the fish, they are in a small tank with brackish water and mature filters. i want to move them to a tank which was holding freshwater also keeping the freshwater filter.

What i want to know is do i have to re cycle the filters at all to make it suitable for the brackish water, or can i just fill it with water containing salt and bung em in....

I am curious if the bacteria for the two water types differ or are they good to go.

thanks
