Just thought I'd stick my two peneth in here.
I just cancelled my sky as I found out that you can still get all the "freeview channels" & more without paying any monthly charge(no change to the equipment needed). Also you can go back to sky at any point with no penalty & only one month minimum period.
Works for me

pity we couldnt cancel the bbc licence fee ( never watch anything on these channels ) still gotta pay the licence though

what bus me is Centrica who own British Gas and the lecccy company have recently anounced a 500% (yes tis right) increase in profits. Why cant they use this some of this money to keep prices stable to thier customers?
Silly me the chief execs got to have his outrageous bonus, whilst us poor plebs ahve got to turn the heating/telly/fish tanks off.

well i did hear ....how true it is or not that 25% of out council tax goes to the council workers pension and expencess.

a guy at works brother works for local council and he was sent to a meeting and had to stay overnight.......hotel bill £200 ....whats wrong with travellodge for them?

this country is only Britan.....we lost the "Great " along time ago!

With the rising fuel prices, maybe we can still keep the same number of tanks but cut the costs by stocking them differently. A reef tank or large tropical planted tank will cost much more to run than a coldwater tank. There are a lot of interesting fish species which don't need expensive heating and lighting.
