Question Parasite worm?

Hi All,

This morning I discovered something unusual floating on the bottom of my aquarium. I fished it out and found it to be a flat leech like worm with a tiny sucker on one end of it. It is just over an inch long nd pale in colour. What the heck is this? My aquarium had a complete tear down about a year ago and since there were no new fish, plants or snails added. The only thing is rozen fish food. Did I feed some ****e eggs to my fish? How can I combat this? All fish are alive and range in size from Guppy to 2 grown Angels. I didn't see any fish misbehaving or looking sick. I also can't find the match for the worm on the internet.

Any one knows this case???

Thanks.

Was it alive?
I doubt anything could survive the freezing and sterilisation process.

Default dead

No, it was dead. I didn't watch fish eat up worms, so I don't know if it simply got defrosted from the food cube or if it came out for a fish....

If it was dead and it was from the food cube, there should be no risk to the fish.
