hi im wondering if i could keep parrot fish in a small community tank in it i have 1 neon tetra 1 glowlight tetra 2 black skirt tetra 2 widow tetras 4 harlequins and a male and female dwarf gourami thanks

you cannot keep parrot fish in a community tank with the fish that you have ,the parrot fish would eat them if he caught them. you can keep them in a larger tank with medium or large peaceful fish.

what size of tank would i need to keep 2 parrot fish and 4 discus and would they be ok together thanks

That wouldn't work Danny, the parrots would be far too aggresive for discus.

hello danny ,personally I would not put parrot fish in a tank less than 3ftx18x15. as, for keeping discus with them ? type in on google , parrotfish and discus compatibility ,have a read and make your own mind up .

i was just wondering as in my LFS they have a corner unit that has 4 parrots and 4 discus they have other fish in there aswell i really love parrot fish and just wondered the easiest way to go about them thanks guys

To be honest I wouldn't bother with discus unless you're really committed to keeping them. They're nice fish, but need a lot more work than other fish.
