Default prawns from a food store.

What kind of prawns and sea food can i feed my puffers? does it have to be in brine? i havnt a clue and i work in a food store so i can get some easily. thanks

For freshwater puffers you can use any seawater fish, like mussels,prawns,cod,if you can get shrimp in shell they will help to keep the pufers beak in good shape,remove the head to give small fish a start on the shrimp,just remember to remove any uneaten food after 30 mins or so.

How big is the puffer and what one is it.

You can feed them frozen pinkies aswell mine used to love them.

green spotted, theyre 2 inches probably. thanks for the info. does the sea food have to be the frozen sort?

No, just keeps for longer in the freezer but if you can bring it home whenever you need it fresh is cool
