Stingray, how on earth can you say a 6x2x2 is suitable for motoros (Brucey back me up), I have seen motoros hit 32" disc so thats 3 1/2' ish with tail. Most will reach 22"-24" disc so will be touching the sides in a 2' wide tank. I have a retic (often sold as tea cups) which is fast outgrowing the 6x2x2 it is in at the moment. Tigers and flowers really need ponds as get huge.

Peter, you really should read well up about rays before even considering one as they are not easy. Yes they can in most cases be kept in a community of big fish. Plus a min of 6'x30"x2' high will be needed and bigger for motoros

Here's some tiger stingrays

I don't have the space for one at the moment, it is something I've always wanted though.

If I had the funds I'd be having a pea**** bass species tank and a stingray tank.

But funds and space and lack of job security mean right now it's not possible. But yeah oneday someday hopefully...

Yeah a big arse tank with a good few bass and some rays would be good as well but the food wouldnt get through the bass to the rays, I used to have that prob. Greedy buggers.

Cheers brucey bruv. Only Hystrix will be ok in a 6x2x2 and I very much doubt anyone can find a ture one in the UK.
