I have a large 8" Burundi Front in with my Malawis and hes fine. The dietary requirements are different but I feed him different food to the Malawi through piece of pipe.
When hes in his cave, I drop NLS pellets or prawns down one end of the pipe and he grabs them when they come out the other.
