Just thought i would share my happyness that my first 2 discus turned out to be male and female!

they are in a comunity tank and have layed about 4-5 times of late. they layed again on wednesday 26 March 2008 and both parents took tuen fanning and careing the eggs!
so only 2 days as eggs before hatching and as i type this the parents are helping the babys to a new cleaned area( well the top of the heater/stat).

its not easy to photograph but will try and get a few!


Im not to hopefull for the babys to survive as there are other fish with them ! will be looking at a breeding project in the months to come !
