Trying to remember.....
About a year.
I am a bit fussy though.
What I don't get is how come my father in law who had my old tank, stocks it up to the rafters with fish, cleans it occasionally & his fish are happy as larry & breeding.
I clean my tank out when I do a water change, every couple of weeks.
Don't overstock it, but lose fish if anyone sneeses too close to my tank. lol
I lost about 10 fish a month ago when I bought some Hatchet fish that must have had something nasty, as well as whitespot.
I lost 2 Rams, My Common Plec (god knows how, he's been with me through about 3 tanks and 3 years). I also lost a Gourami, some Platy's and a Glass catfish.
Gutted.
So I'm on the lookout for a nice Plec, to do the hoovering.
