I have not kept them , but they are real badboys I have just spent a facinating hour on the net reading about them , there are plenty of conflicting reports , and I think you will enjoy the read type in clown triggerfish tankmates on google .

thanks for the reply grandad, ye it seems that the clown is a very dominant fish and very unpredictable, i think i might leave this fish well alone, i like the trigger in your picture, really nice fish, how is its temperment around other fish? cheers phil

As you can see both the niger ,and the picasso are little fish at the moment so they are fine with the others , as the niger grows he should be fine , there is a lot of conflicting reports about wether they are reef safe ,but I would not put one in mine , As for the picasso I am going to have to keep a close eye on him as he grows incase he decides to have a go at my lion fish ,if he does then he is destined for my sump until I take him back to my lfs (who have already promised to take him back should it be neccessary,

I had a bluethroat trigger, he was a nice gentle fish( one of the gentlest of all the triggers), so there are quite a few you can look at .
