The tank is young but the rock and water sand etc got its routes from my 15ft reef that i tore down a year or so back. the rock and fish that i had went into the sump which was in an 8x4 insulated shed in the back garden. it held 200 gallons altogether. when i got the smaller tank i plumbed it into the sump filled with fresh sw left it turning over with powerheads for a week or two and then slowly opened the taps from the pumps in the shed to start mixing the water at the rate of about 10 gallons a day until the whole lot was running on the same water. i then moved the livestock into the house shut the shed down and introduced a sump underneath the tank . which has been running for a couple of months hence the reason for my mini cycle starting again

every thing should be fine then ( google letting me down with these names then lol) anything with a name over six letters long is to hard for me to remember ( and sometimes it takes me a while to remember tang or wrasse lol) hence google--- that must have been one hell of a tank would have loved to have seen it ( any pictures )very elaborate plumbing there ste

I wasnt to worried what the plumbing looked like to be honest as it was out in the shed . i was going through the stage of trying this and that to see what worked the best . but i got the same results what ever i did .
