looking at investing into metal halide lighting but i dont know much about it
whats the difference between 14000 and 20000...is one better for fish? is one better for corals? and the watts 150, 250, and 400...i know nothing about this.

What wattage you need will depend on the height of your tank and what corals you plan on keeping.

The 10,14,20K ect is the kelvin rating, the higher the number the bluer the light, i like the 14k myself.

i have LED Aquaray from TMC right now. they say they are just as good as metal halides without the cost...is this true?

I have heard mixed reports on LED lighting, some think it's ok and others don't.

I personally prefer MH.
