Hi chaps!!! Back to the purple tang is there still a ban on them or has it been lifted????? Went to kkc at hull and they didn't have any everything bloody else though!!!! He couldn't give a price when asked???????

As I stated when I put it that, there was 'rumour' of a ban. I'm unsure whether there actually is as everyone seems to say different. I think TMC were still getting them in but whether they were from the place outside the Red Sea along the coast of India where they have found them, I don't know. Lots of place seem to have them though but prices are the highest I've seen. One place down my end has one about 5" for offers around £250!

So I couldn't tell you mate. I'll see if I can find out the latest news.

Hi m8! It would suggest somethings gone off with a price as high as that???? He bought it 2-3yrs ago. Talked to my local stockist and he's thinking seriously about making him an offer!!!

Still not sure if there is a ban or not. They are mainly caught from the Red Sea and last I heard they have stopped that and are now picking them from section on the coast of India.
