Yeah I dont think any Triggers can be trusted with shrimps so in that case the Hawkfish should be fine as long as you have a lid on the tank as I've know them to jump.

Hmm just been reading up more on the Raccoon Butterfly and they dont get on too well with Triggers which I was unaware of. So looks like thats out the window. Could try a Copperband Butterfly, they can sometimes be hard to get feeding and may nip at corals but one the otherhand some are the opposite and never touch a think and will eat artemia no bother.

Yeah the Nigers and Blue Throats are really the only 'Reef Safe' Triggers I think. Grandad will be your man in advising you what will mix with them as I have not keep Triggers before.

I haven't had any problems with Foxfaces before. Used to have 3 in the 8ft'er and you can see how many corals are in there and they never bothered with them.

Again Foxes can sometimes be tough to get feeding, hence before I buy any fish I ask the LFS to show me they are feeding and If I'm satisfied then I'll take them. They are quite shy so any agressive feeders tend to put them off, from what I have found. Had 2 Regals that would go crazy when you put food in which would scare them away.

I agree, beautiful fish about £5 - £8 each and not aggressive, dont grow big, shoaling and easy feeders. Perfect fish.

Perhaps Anthias, however quite a bit harder then Chromis as they are demanding in regards to food so can be tough to keep. Was thinking of trying a shoal of them myself soon. Probably some of the most colourful fish.

Its just plenty of research to be done when buying fish is the key.
