thanks in advance for any help/advice...
hello ian suitable tankmates for your picasso are pretty wide eg lion fish dwarf or standard , larger wrasses foxface , puffers, blue lined triggerfish niger triggers you can keep them with larger more agressive fish,

so i can keep two types of trigger together in that tank? i love the lionfish but was told that most triggers (especialy picassos) will normaly harrass them to death by nipping off their spines and fins etc....i would idealy love to have my picasso a niger a dwarf lion and a few dwarf angels...would that work in your opinion?

well I have just put two dwarf lion fish and a Picasso trigger fish in mine, so you can wait and find out if you like, lol, my friends have kept them and angels together for years with no trouble, you cant keep all kinds of triggers together ,but you can keep the Niger and blue lined with him if you wanted to . as with every potentially aggressive fish its best to keep a close eye on him and check your other fish for any signs of harassment . remember not all fish of the same species will act entirely the same .

well I have got a four inch regal tang in my reef tank at the moment ,and once I feel my new fish only tank has matured enough, he is heading for there ( hes armed and hes fast so should not have any trouble in there ) but as I said they all will be checked daily . have you looked at my thread my new tank ? my little trigger is on there .
