Thanks for the info Guys

So I can just move them in plastic bags...then put the plastic bags in a plastic box (in case of leaks). I'm assuming I use the water from the tank to put in the bags? because of bacteria? ?
The tank we have at the moment is a bit small so we were buying a new larger tank for them to move into,so how best to get the good bacteria going?

Would you suggest with the size of the fish we get a pond instead of a tank??

That obviously depends on how big the new tank is

Yes to the water from the tank but as mentioned try not to put too much of that in your new tank . Fill the new tank and add declor to eliminate the chlorine from the tap water . If you can bag the filter up from your current tank, with a little water and some air, that should surfice . I was given a goldie tank from my son in law recently and the above is all I did and the fish are all fine .
