Hi there I'm looking for some information please, concerning placeing a vortex as a prefilter before my easy pod, i've got a lot of algie in the pod and its proveing difficult to get rid of it, I'm cleaning the pod, by back flushing about three times a week, for about one to two hours each time to try and get rid of the algie. The pond holds 1100gal. and the pod is fed by a Laguna max-flo pump. I have a mixture of Koi and a few goldish, approx 15 fish in total ( plus two toads that have deceided to take up residance) Any ideas woul be greatly received.
