hi

Hope some one can help one of my cichlids has developed a wart (sort of) bright red it looks like a grouth that has burst through the skin? what should I do

i'm no expert on diagnosis of fish illness at all to be honest, but the information i do know is that "red lumps" or "angry red" type tissue on the skin is usually (but not always) a sign of a bacterial infection.

With this in mind you could go down the route of either

- Waterlife Myxazin
- Interpet Anti Internal Bacteria (it works on external bacteria too)
- Melafix (weaker medication than the above two)

Good water changes could also help

Are the other fish in tank all ok?

Do you know your water stats at all?
