cheers, going to wait another 10-14 days before i decide what to do with them, want to see if they are going to turn traditional blue/black striped like normal convicts (which i hope they dont)

thanks Grandad, with the mum being a normal blue/black convict and dad being an albino jellybean (basically a short-bodied convict) i am hoping for something "different" in terms of what these grow into, but probability is they will look quite normal in terms of a classic convict, but perhaps not grow so big, but so far the fry look kind of different, but then again i havent had convict fry in ages.

anyway its fun to be raising fry again (that are born from eggs), they don't call me Fry Lover for nothing!

26 days old now.

It's hard to get a picture to show their colouration because i have to empty the little tank to get pictures, and by then the fish are quite stressed.

I tend to empty it once a week to enable a good syphon of bottom area, as the tank is full of pots and plant cuttings.
