Default Nics

Not in the same league as Mr Popes thread in Discus section, but his "diary" prompted me.

19th April Nics spawned, female sitting with eggs

Hatched 22nd April and 27th April were freeswimming

Updated pics from last night
Male with fry

And the female

Thanks guys Unfortunately with a tank bursting on me a wee while back, I had nowhere to move the jag, so not holding out much hope on the fry lasting too long, she's already been doing raids on them.

Gorgeous fish and great pics!

We bought a pair of these from an auction a couple of months ago but we are beginning to think they are both female as there was 2 spawnings within a week and nothing came of them

Its a shame about the jag being in there but at least you know now that they can do it!

We have uarus that took 8 spawns to give us some young, i thought that was bad lol, patience does eventually pay off
