have spoken to other people and they rekon they r sizing each other up 4 mating ?
but light is back on now ! no biting of sides just locking lips
will have to get a flat piece of slate now and wait !!!!11

48in long,13in wide,16in deep.
theres nothing but gravel and 1 8 in gibi plec for maximum room reg water changes x2 fluval 4 canister pump/filters and bubble machine.the bm is good v fine bubbles cost £37.99 so i would hope so.

well im no exspert maybe if u bring up the temp a tiny bit and try a wee bit of live food ie river shrimp or suming every 2-3 days it might help if thay are geting jigy whith it

Generally with South Americans you want to lower the water temperature then hit them with quality foods. This reproduces the flood seasons when the water temps drop naturally and food is swept down river from further upstream. This works well with fish like kribs for example as well.
