as long as you drop enough water out to allow for that strip to come close to the glass, and use the stuff I said ,you have not got to dry anything ,this stuff is non toxic and even dries underwater, put the water you take out into containers and refill afterwards , as you take the water out you will see it coming tgether and it should be fine at about halfway .
