Still a shame, but atleast you know they're a proven pair. Will you be setting up a seperate tank for them?

Watch this space !

please people dont be upset at the outcome i deliberatly let them go it alone and didnt interfear ( well only to photo them and they are not camera shy parents so didnt get spooked when i was close up!)
Im very happy with the out come that i have a pair, some other discus boys on another forum cant even get their fish to breed even in a cube

this was enjoyable for me to keep posting the diary progress of my well known pair!

Neil have you joined BIDKA yet?

Well said Robert, the outcome was to be expected it is near impossible to rear in a comunity tank but you have a viable pair, cube them up and you should be well on the way to a succesful rearing.

sorry to read their gone, but at least you had the pleasure of seeing them and you have succeeded in doing ,what many discus owners can only dream about. and Im sure next time with a bit of solitude for them ,and a lot of care off you ,they and you will succeed in raising the young.

Thanks for the kind words Grandad!

Its been like the pair have been in morning today as they only swim away from the heater where fry had been to feed!
