well to be quite honest, even these so called experts cant really tell us what feelings fish have ( how could they their not a fish ) and your pair put in a lot of time and effort ,so they have got to be feeling some sort of loss.

last evening i thought it wouldnt be long for them to lay again as he was showing his pimple and she had her egg tube down.........nothing thismorning before work when i fed them. Tonight i came home to nice batch of orange eggs on the tank side........when will they learn to use a breeding cone? well perhaps they think they are better than a upside down flowerpot

so here we are again .......will keep this thread going on their attempts being on their own i have high hopes for them !

Rob if they dont spawn on a cone try silconing some glass or tile srips into a triangle,longer pices at the sides than the base,a lot of asian breeders do this.
