day 18

i Had my first set back today when i found 4 babys trapped behind the power filter its been in there 6 days+ ........my fault i should have dug out the other little air driven box filter!( filter is now removed so cant happen again!)

down to 16 babys !

there's a damn shame Robert, I bet your gutted , but we all make mistakes ,and I'm sure you have not got anything else in there to harm the other little ones .smashing film and pictures of the rest of them ,your spoiling us .

Yeh what i dont understand is why they had not been sucked into the filter area before this date. makes me think that they either got in there and couldnt get out or they were not the strongest of fry?

on the pluss side i know the parents didnt kill them /eat them .

guess it will be more food for the 16 ! and its a first atempt for the pair and myself so if any make it its a bonus

thanks grandad! the photos don't realy show their size very clearly..........still havent seen them eating what i offer......other people say they have them feeding after 5-6 days think they must be picking up bits and feeding from mum/dad.
