i had some confusion on discus forums and when they say 4 days 6 days 10 days its not from the day of eggs haching but from the day the sticky eggs gore free swimming and atatch to their parents.......

i was getting upset that my fry werent showing any intrest in the bbs ( baby brineshrimp) so mine went swimming on day 5 so in discus terms they are on day 17

i had been offering the decap around day 10 so im only a little behind the ideal 10 days first feeding!

excellent once more ,they seem to be getting more oval I think robert?

nice clip again pope, i know they need higher protein food to grow, but have you thought about adding couple of either floating plants or tall plants and trying to stimulate some algae for them to nibble on?

Are they leaving the parents at all, i mean venturing further 5-6 inches

now they are taking and hunting for the bbs i can start to introduce them to crumbled flake and soon onto re-chopped beefheart i use the slabs and this has vegtable matter in it .
i am not sure they are the nibbling type while they still have mumand dad to bite on.

they have been away from the parents for some days now only returning to feed and security.

Im understanding that when they have full tummys of bbs they show pink!
