well guys
Fry thanks for asking !
not doing as well as they were , i lost yet another 4 since i last posted ! I have read about others who have had the same 4 week syndrone .i have wormed them and now have them on maxizin in a hope to save some of the last 11

they start swimming alone on the bottom on strange nose up angle and then dart around the tank mostly tale motion and then a few days later they snuff it.
they dont seam to be getting any bigger either im finding it hard to keep the tank clean all the time ......who said discus breeding was easy

Sorry to hear that Rob, do you think the "darting about" could be parasite related at all?

Its my own fault

i was so lazy and relaxed doing the feeding and waterchanges that i missed a artical on my other forum regarding the preventative of these symptoms and the treatment/meds they use on specific days to get them through the early stages......This is where experience is all important

im off on me holidays in 4 weeks so they will be on their own while im away!

2 weeks in Canada.......if i return home to no fry .....well theres always the next time! and i know i have fantastic parents that know what to do

Sorry to hear that, but then again, considering how long you've had them, I'd say you're doing pretty well!!
