all taken care of rob my friend !only the black sillicon in the tank now. Today i bought some womens white sport socks ..........7 pairs in a pack and i only wanted 3 socks! oh well the wife has a birthday coming up soon so .....

just converting a vid of socks and babys at day3.
Im away tonight so have lowerd the water level in hope they find the parents easy. the tank is iluminated by a night light through the nights so they can always see the babys.

Dad is still very protective over the babys !

This is all new to me Grandad, and its intresting to see the babys are trying to go free swimming only 3 hours after the 3rd video.in the 3rd video she looked quite pale in colour and now as i have been watching them basicly with my nose against the tank she has turned a very deep dark brown/black! fasinating to see her change so fast. both mum and dad are grouping the babys in clumps ready for the big swim

it looks like i have been lucky and dont have a shy pair! perhaps it helps that the male was nursed back to health making him so relaxed around us?

i next want to get a vid of when they atatch.......bey i will be away when this happens

Thats a million dollar question Duce!

they still have a lot of difficult times ahead

1, first have to swimm and atach to parant sides
2, i have to make sure i have the baby brineshrimp ready for them in 5-6 days
3, get past the 4 week syndrone( ment to be a critical time for baby discus as they can be struck down with gill flukes and stuff)
4, MUM and DAD may still eat them !

then a few with deformed fins, runts, the list can go on! ( i only have 40 ish as my pair are very small) ........i would be happy just to get 5 even to make it past the 4 week time !
