did not get online last night to upload day12 so here it is........



day 13 fry are swimming between mum and dad much more,still not intrested in the food im trying to get them to take.

thats quite decent growth for 13 day old egg-born fry isn't it?

how big in mm would you say they are?

day 13


they are showing amazing growth ....i should milk my discus and sell it
they get offerings of baby brineshrimp and decapsulated brineshrimp( eggs with shel removed)
the growth is all down to the parents as i havent seen them feed yet! they are feeding from mum&dad 24-7 dont forget!

fry are 8mm-10mm length

im told in the right conditions fed 6 times a day they could reach 2" in 12 weekssale size

im not counting my chickens before they LOL well its about 20 tasha! not many in discus terms and some parents could reject this amount to raise a bigger batch. im happy with this small numberas what the blooming heck do you do with 100's and besides its their first babys and both mum and dad are small fish !
