With younger cichlids if you have a group of 6 or something, you will find that probably 2 will pair up and will bully the rest. I have 4 Cuban cichlids and they were fine together then 2 paired up and beat the hell outta the other ones. Now they are in a tank with an Oscar and 2 Jack Dempseys and keeps them pinned in the corner attacking them as they want to breed. So I am going to have to get rid of the Oscar, Jacks and other Cuban otherwise they will kill them and they will have to be kept on their own.
You will probably find this happens with your Chocs eventually. I would see what your two turn out like first.
