Hello, I'm Rob and I live in a wonderful town called North Shields, it near Newcastle and you'll probably never have any reason to visit. Oh, and unlike most of you I'm not ashamed to admit my age; 17.
I've been keeping fish for about 12 years now, but I only really started when I got my first tropical tank 5 years ago. At the minute I have a marine tank with 2 percula clowns, 1 firefish and 1 green chromis; a tank soon to be home to 6 discus (arriving on Thursday) which also has ottos, splash tetras and x-ray tetras in; a heavily planted tank with endlers, cherry shrimp, trumpet snails and a clown plec; a heavily planted nano tank with zebra danios, a keyhole cichlid, a cory and a hoplo; and finally a small plastic tank for a Neolamprologus Brichardi that managed to escape the net when I was selling my breeding trio with young, he has grown loads since then and I actually really like him.
Not really fussed on breeding as I haven't got the time, but the endlers, shrimps and snails breed like mad without any persuading. The danios seem to be spawning loads maybe some fry will survive in the plants, but I doubt it. The splash tetras are breeding too, so great to watch, no way the fry could survive though as the tank is relatively bare (easier cleaning). If I only I had more tanks!
Rob
