Well i saw the Cory's in action a few times, the eggs hang off the female, a few at a time (well maybe 10-20), the female is swimming all over the place, at the time, all levels of tank, the male is closely following and fertilising them.
Whenever one female was laying eggs, the whole tank would erupt into activity, i could always tell when there was breeding action beginning.
Then the female lay's them on the glass, they stick straight away, from time beginning to lay on the glass, till time they are laid and she is gone, is only a few seconds if that.
My females scattered the eggs all over the glass in random "bunches" so to speak, there would be like 50 eggs one end, 50 the other end etc!
Sometimes in the morning i would see that some of the eggs have been nibbled and eaten by other cory's, it depends how quickly i got there.
