Have you cleaned the filters recently? Simple thing but leaving this to long can cause an increase in organics that somefish cant stand and the bogwood may have been the tipping point.

I'm not suggesting you take the bogwood out but clean your filters do a series of partial water changes.

I'm not sure about the treatment you use but I would recommend esha 2000.
