Default Pages loading

Hello Webmaster

I am finding that the pages on here are taking some time to load (not always), a few times over last few days, i've had to completely close the forum down and come back to get anywhere.

Is it something to do with the adverts on here, and maybe my graphics card or something?

Shouldn't be, i have a Dell thats only a few years old and 2.8Mhz processor and 512 GB Ram, so the graphics card must be ok?

Other forum's (different sitres) are loading ok.

to get it into perspective, its only a problem about 5-10% of the time, but still somewhat annoying.

Is it just my end?

Anyone else got this?

We have just the 2 domains on a dedicated server - Pets Classifieds and Aquarist Classifieds.

When at peak time there is a very heavy demand on the whole website because of so many visitors (mostly looking at the adverts) some pages do load a bit slowly because of demands on the databases. The forum loads slowly as there are multiple database calls per page.

I am scratching my head for solutions, it may mean moving to a faster server.

Thansk for the update.

I prefer the term "Webmaster" that was kinda unique!

Thanks for the feedback, i dont like to moan, as i think this is a bleedin' lovely forum with a great atmosphere or "vibe"

The current performance wont stop me using the forum.

As for all these extra peeps on during peek times, i would rather you ban the lot of them Webmaster, so my pages can load faster LOL

Well it's 22:56 now, and the forum is running like a well-oiled machine, pages loading super fast.
