Default Recent Listed & Updated Adverts

Recent Listed & Updated Adverts on main page, same ads are at the top of the page always now... Also you have to click the classifieds picture to view them now, where as before they were viewable straight away.

I preffered it as it was. Anyone else prefer it the "old style" ?

I preferred it as well, but it tended to slow down the appearing of the home page. Loads much quicker now.

Ah fair do's.

Although if I was new to the site I wouldn't know to click on that. But you have the, "LATEST ADS HERE" on the right in red so they'll see that.

The old style made ads jump out, different products listed caught the eye more on each login rather then one static page.

PS. How comes the same ads are always at the top? At a glance it seems that the ads haven't been updated since the user last looked...but on further looking they are updated but same ones stay at the top. I'm, guessing because these are paying/featured customers?? In my opinion was nice when always had different ads at the top etc. Made the sales page look like it was used/updated more.

Yes you are correct. The top ads pay to be there - this enables the site to remain a free resource to all other buyers and sellers.

Maybe I could make the sponsors 'pinned at the top' adverts stand out a bit more, or label them as sponsors, so visitors know which they are ...

How about this: http://www.aquarist-classifieds.co.u...sh_inverts.php

does that seem an improvement?
