Baby Ferrets
One of my ferrets suprisingly gave birth to 7 little babies a month ago. So moved the mother and the babies out from the run and away from the male and other female. They are so cute!!! Just starting to go adverturing through the bars of their cages falling straight into the dogs bed.
Just went outside earlier and heard squeaking coming from the run and yep, you guessed it, the other female has had a litter of babies in the hammock. Same place as the other female but this one has had 8. So eventually, we have to find home for 15 little ferrets, should be fun!
Unfortunatly for Vin Weasel, the male, he is going to have to get the chop! Well versectomised.
Will takes some pictures of the babies tomorrow.

slash, i used to breed ferrets! but had to give em up cause i moved you're right to get the hob/male done but id advise ya to get the 2 jills/females done too otherwise they may become very ill...if jills dont mate they stay in season, this in turn can cause major infection in the womb, which in some.not all cases can lead to death!...but you're right they are cute, are they on solids yet? get some pics up

Yeah thats why we are going to get the male versectomised rather then castrated so he can take the females out of heat when need be.
Well both still. They are still taking milk and a bit of chicken baby food but on their adventures have found the biscuit bowl!
I will put up pictures in a second as I have just fed em.

Ermmmm.......maybe but don't worry, its not curry sauce they are eating, they are smelly enough as it is!
Was going to use a cat bowl but the cat was looking on angrily in the background.
