Default email help needed??

hi ya i need to know something.... i am currently with bt for my broadband but we are changing to sky asap the question is will i lose my bt internet email address?? am i still able to acces it even if not with them anymore???????? you help with this would be most appreciated!

i would think so jon as bt wont be ya isp,also everyone i know that have sky internet are regretting it big time mate seems they get nowt but probs

tel do you know what sort of problems they are getting its just the girlfriendhas ordered it so we get the package for the tv! her mum has it and aint had any problems!!!!!!!!!!

I did the same swap a year ago, I still get emails to BT address, but you can't use it to send mails out.

I can't say my service from sky is any better or worse than when I was with BT, to me it seems to be exactly the same, the big difference is I pay a fiver for middle package with sky, and was 15quid for bottom package with BT.

many thanks curviceps we are changing cos internet is costing 26 a month plus tv is s**t so its seems are far better deal!!!!

That was one of the reasons I did it too, had the telly package and Blueyonder didnae cover the area I moved to, so had tried BT and then Sky announced cheaper internet, so went for it, and now just finished first year with them last month, and have stuck with them.

You will need to phone Bt and subscribe to "premium mail service" that way you can keep your BT email addresses for £4 per month.
